Recycling 4-LP Editon –  available here 

The recording of my “Recycling Concerto” with the SWR Symphonieorchester and the outstanding percussionist Vivi Vassileva has been released as a special four-LP edition made from recycled ocean plastic and is available here.

With this release, we are the first classical symphony orchestra worldwide to record and publish a new work specifically for this brand-new medium made from recycled plastic bottles. In keeping with the guiding idea of the “Recycling Concerto,” sustainability is also at the heart of the production process: unlike conventionally manufactured vinyl records, ours are not pressed but instead engraved directly into recycled material in an energy-efficient process – entirely avoiding the high energy consumption and CO₂ emissions associated with traditional pressing.
